Bateaux New York offers creative plated dining prepared fresh on board daily, Broadway-quality entertainment and unparalleled views of Manhattan on every cruise.
Enjoy the tunes of a talented soloist accompanied by an acoustic trio of baby grand piano, bass, and guitar providing background dinner music including jazz, classical melodies and familiar standards. As you float along the harbor, dance the night away against the backdrop of Manhattan skyscrapers and some of New York's most celebrated landmarks.

There is a $6.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.
There are no refunds. All sales are final.
The ship cruises the Hudson and East Rivers, past the skyscrapers of Manhattan including the Empire State Building. You'll also see the Intrepid Sea-Air Space museum, the Brooklyn Bridge, the site of the World Trade Center, Battery Park City, South Street Seaport, and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge - the second-longest single-span suspension bridge in the world - Governor's Island, Ellis Island, and Colgate Clock. Of course, the highlight of the cruise is the Statue of Liberty, one of the most celebrated landmarks in the world.
Rates apply to Bateaux dinner cruises on Fridays, but do not apply for special event cruises such as Valentines, July 4 or New Year's Eve. Usually these special event/holiday cruises will be listed on our website at different prices.

Is there any age requirement?
Ages 5 and up are welcome to ride the evening cruise, but there is no child price discount. The dinner cruise is very elegant, so children are not recommended. You must be at least 21 years old with a valid ID to purchase or consume alcohol.
What type of entertainment is offered?
Listen. Dance. Cheek-to-cheek. The moment you step aboard, a musical trio and solo vocalist set the mood for an elegant evening of cosmopolitan delights. After dinner as you cruise the tip of Manhattan, these entertainers continue to compliment the spectacular skyline views with a sophisticated variety of familiar standards, light pop and Broadway tunes.
What is your smoking policy?
All interior areas of the ship are non-smoking areas. Passengers who enjoy smoking may do so on the outdoor observation decks.
Is the ship handicap accessible?
The Bateaux can accommodate wheelchairs for boarding and provides handicapped restrooms on the second deck. Please notify us of any special assistance needed for members of your group prior to the cruise. The crew wants to ensure you receive the necessary attention and appropriate assistance at the time of your arrival.
Will my cell phone work on the cruise?
Yes, your cell phone will work on the cruise. For the comfort of other guests, we ask that cell phone conversations be held on the outside decks.
Can I make reservations by phone and pay at the ship?
No. Payment is required in full at the time of the reservation. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
What should I wear?
For evening cruises, it is strongly suggested that men wear a jacket. For women, we recommend evening or business attire. The Bateaux does not permit T-shirts, jeans, shorts or sneakers.
Is parking available at the ship?
Yes. Paid parking is available a few feet away from the ship.
Do you sail in foul weather?
Absolutely. The ship is fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. The ship sails - rain or shine - year round.
How early should I arrive for my cruise?
Boarding begins 45 minutes prior to the cruise departure.
Will I get seasick?
It's unlikely. The ship operates in New York Harbor, on the Hudson River and the East River, which are all very calm bodies of water. What's more, the ship is large and very stable, so in most cases, you can hardly tell that the ship is moving.
How is seating arranged on board?
Seating is pre-arranged by the crew. Sorry, but the Bateaux does not accept seating requests.
Is gratuity included in the ticket price?
A service charge is included to cover gratuity on the food portion of the ticket price. It does not include any gratuity on beverages purchased on the ship or any optional extra gratuity based on outstanding personal service.
What kind of food is served?>
The menu is New American Cuisine - a plated meal.
Are beverages included?
Coffee and tea are included. All other beverages can be purchased onboard.
What do drinks cost?
Mixed drinks start at $7.50, beer starts at $5.50, wine at $7.50 per glass, and sodas are $4.50 (subject to change).
Is the whole boat all glass?
The Celestial features glass ceiling and walls with supporting framework to offer an unparalleled view of the New York skyline. The interior is beautifully appointed including hardwood floors.
Do the windows fog up in the rain?
The boat is enclosed with triple pane, concave glass. There is a defogging system that does not allow the windows to fog up.
What does "Bateaux" mean?
Bateaux is the French word for "boats."
