Land & Liberty Tour in New York Description

Harbor Cruise:

Get ready to see the New York sights from the water as you cruise the harbor that was the gateway to America for millions.

From the time of the first explorers to the successive waves of immigrants and shipmasters, New York Harbor is the link that attracted settlers to the New World. On this 60-minute official National Park Service cruise with music and sound effects, you will hear commentary from park rangers, historians and scientists, offering a rich and layered perspective on harbor ecology, commerce, immigration and defense.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the breeze on this remarkable cruise.

Open Ticketing:

When you order this Land & Liberty Tour, you will receive an "open" reservation E-Ticket. Even though you will select a date and time from the Availability Calendar, the "Tour Time" on your E-Ticket will read "OPEN." This gives you the best possible flexibility in choosing the cruise departure that makes the most sense for you. You are not limited to the preferred departure date and time you select on the Order Form. If events result in you needing to change either the date or the time of the cruise, you are able to present your E-Ticket for any scheduled departure for a period of 7 days beginning on the date you selected as your original "Tour Date."

So, if the weather is not to your liking on that selected Tour Date, but the forecast is for it to be much better the next day, you can just present your E-Ticket on that "day after." Just arrive in time for the cruise you want to take rather than the one you previously selected and present your E-Ticket at that time.

Narration for these cruises is provided on audio headsets.
