New York Classic Double Decker Tour
New York Classic Double Decker Tour Purchase the New York All Loops Tour, and you will be able to see all the major sights in New York. This tour includes a pass on our double decker buses that cover the major sightseeing spots in Manhattan PLUS a ticket for the ferry to the Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island AND admission ticket to either the Empire State Building or the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. You will enjoy the best sights in Manhattan during the day and at night, with unlimited hop-on, hop-off service at over 40 stops on our double decker bus. You can stop and see the sights up close, and then hop on the bus, and head to the next location.
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final. Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center. This tour does not operate on Christmas Day or New Year's Day. Uptown Loop: Stops include Central Park, Lincoln Center, Theater District, Rockefeller Plaza, Radio City, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Fifth Avenue, American Museum of Natural History, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Apollo Theatre, Harlem neighborhoods, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim, and other famous cultural attractions on the Museum Mile. If you were to ride the loop without hopping off and on, this tour would take approximately 2 hours. The double decker buses operate daily from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with buses serving each stop approximately every 30 minutes (April to December) and every 45 minutes (January to March). Downtown Loop: Stops include Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown, Financial District, Battery Park (departure point for Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island 1-hour cruise and ferry to Liberty and Ellis Islands), South Street Seaport, Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, Radio City, United Nations, 42nd Street, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Fifth Avenue. This tour passes near Ground Zero. Get off at City Hall, and walk four blocks to Ground Zero. If you were to ride the loop without hopping off and on, this tour would take approximately 2 hours. The double-decker buses operate daily from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with buses serving each stop approximately every 10 to 15 minutes (April to December) and every 30 minutes (January to March). Brooklyn Loop: Stops include Cadman Plaza / Brooklyn Heights, Old Fulton Landing, Atlantic Avenue, Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn Museum of Art and Botanic Garden, Fulton Mall, New York Marriott Hotel. If you were to ride the loop without hopping off and on, this tour would take approximately 2 hours. The double-decker buses operate daily on the hour between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. The Night Loop: View over 20 sites from Central Park, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Chinatown, and Little Italy. Includes a stop in Brooklyn for magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline. You will see the glittering lights of "the City that never sleeps." (Please Note: The Night Tour is a 2 to 2.5 hour tour only; you do not hop-on and hop-off the Night Tour.) The Holiday Lights Tour replaces the Night Loop from the Friday after Thanksgiving through early January (not operating Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day). This tour features Christmas decorations and animated windows at New York's famous department stores, the giant tree at Rockefeller Center, and other unique sights in Manhattan at holiday time. The double decker buses depart every half hour between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm from May to October, and at 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm, and 7:00 pm from November through April. Tickets for the ferry and Empire State Building Observatory can be used at any time during your stay in New York City. You may use the Downtown Loop to hop-on and hop-off at Battery Park (embarkation point for the ferry to the Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island) or to reach the Empire State Building. You will receive a pass good for 48 hours. Please Note: This tour does not operate on Christmas Day or New Year's Day. If you check in for your 48-hour pass on December 24, your hop-on/hop-off privileges are good on December 26 as well. If you check in for your 48-hour pass on December 31, your hop-on/hop-off privileges are good on January 2 as well. Please note that the Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island and Empire State Building visits are not guided tours. At Holiday times and in the summer, clients should allow at least 2 to 3 hours if visiting the Statue of Liberty and 3 to 4 hours if visiting both the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. By purchasing your ferry tickets in advance as part of this tour, you will not have to stand in line to purcahse a ticket, but you still must wait in line to board the ferry. Ferries depart from Battery Park (one of the stops on the Downtown Loop) approximately every 20 minutes between 9:00 am and 3:45 pm in season (less frequently in winter). The first stop in the Statue of Liberty; the second stop is Ellis Island; and then the ferry returns to Battery Park. Security Notice: Visitors taking the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island will have to go through security checks. Backpacks and large bags and briefcases are not allowed on the ferry. Liberty Island is open, but visits inside the Statue of Liberty are not permitted. Visitors may walk around the island and take pictures of the Statue of Liberty from the outside. There are no restrictions for visits to Ellis Island. This tour does not provide hotel pick-up. Tour departs from our office on 8th Avenue near Restaurant Row and Broadway; the exact address will be provided once you make your reservation. Child age is 3 to 11; ages 2 and under are free.
